CIS seniors recognized as National Merit Commended Students
Seniors Anna Shanks and Zaylee Rose were recently presented with Letters of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. College Counselor Patrick Elmore presented Anna and Zaylee with certificates during an all-school assembly last month.
Anna and Zaylee earned Commended Student status by achieving excellent performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in 2024, placing among the top 34,000 test takers in the nation.
Upper School Director Dr. Sarah Primmer offered congratulations to both students. “I’m thrilled that Anna and Zaylee are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.”
The CIS community is proud of Anna and Zaylee’s hard work and academic achievement! And, you can also find them reaching heights in other endeavors, including athletics, theater and other extracurricular activities.
