Ananya Aggarwal Competes in the 100th Scripps National Spelling Bee
We are incredibly proud of Ananya Aggarwal, who represented our school and state at the 100th Scripps National Spelling Bee in Maryland!
As a rising eighth grader at Columbia Independent School, this was Ananya’s first time at the national bee—and she made it all the way to the quarterfinals, standing out as the last speller from Missouri. Her hard work, focus, and calm under pressure were truly inspiring.
Ananya is a great reminder that success comes from dedication and courage. We can’t wait to see what she does next and are cheering her on as she sets her sights on next year’s competition.
